As a Courier (Driver), you are directly responsible for delivering packaged meal sets to our clients throughout the San Francisco Area in a professional, safe, and timely manner. You will be expected to deliver up to 40 meal sets in a shift. You are also responsible for ensuring that the deliveries are in pristine shape, delivered to the correct address, and during the correct time window. You will be the main liaison between Off the Grid and the client to ensure that all procedures are followed and that the highest quality of meal sets is being delivered to customers.
Off the Grid’s Class A Driver is responsible for transporting and loading/unloading Cubert, our mobile pop up venue, to and from our Events and our warehouse. This position is a crucial part of the Cubert Logistics team to ensure accuracy of load and reports directly into the Event Operations and Logistics team.
This position will also act as the supervisor on shift, maintaining professional and proactive communication between the team and Cubert Logistics Manager. The Class A Driver will be responsible for holding the team accountable to time and attendance guidelines, as well as maintaining a safe and professional work environment.
The ideal candidate is an energetic, self-starter who can work under minimal supervision. You have 3 years of commercial truck driving experience, including experience operating 26’ straight or box trucks and a clean driving record. You hold a valid and active Class A CDL with Airbrake endorsement, and if you don’t currently hold an active forklift certification, you have used forklifts in the past to transport goods.

Off the Grid’s Onsite Catering Event Producer (OCEP) is a contract position, which drives the on-site execution and event logistics of our mobile food catering events. This position partners closely with a team of Catering Event Producers, ensuring a smooth transition for clients moving from the planning, production, and post-production phase, and reports into the Catering Production Manager.
The ideal candidate is logistically minded and detailed oriented. With a charismatic approach, you emphasize and lead with hospitality in your communication, enabling you to build trusting client relationships and provide exceptional service. You handle pressure with efficiency and grace, are able to change gears quickly and resolve unexpected issues/circumstances, and view challenges as an opportunity to improve and exceed client expectations.
OCEP’s hours are dependent on the season but can range from 10-30 hours/week. A flexible schedule (including nights and weekends) is required to support the on-site execution of our Bay Area catering events.
